What to Expect

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel.  Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

First Visit

At your first visit, we'll want to know all we can about your health, your lifestyle, and your expectations of us.  If you have any previous x-rays, medical records, or test results, feel free to bring them.  After you complete the paperwork, you'll get to meet our staff and tour the office.  Then you'll meet our doctors, and we'll review your history and condition.  If we think we can help you, we'll perform an examination of the problem area.  Please allow about an hour for your first visit with us.

Second Visit

On your second visit, you'll find out what we discovered during your examination.  Your condition will be explained, and if we think we can help you, you are likely to have your first adjustment today.  Expect to spend about 45 minutes in our office today, including your first treatment.

By the way, many of our patients like to get their family involved in their care.  This is the perfect time to bring with you someone who cares about your health.  With your permission, your friend or family member may listen to your examination findings and our recommendations for your care.

A Typical Visit

Once we begin your treatment plan, a typical visit should take about 30 minutes.  (Patients who are receiving acupuncture or spinal decompression will have slightly longer visit times.)  At each session, you will fill out a short progress form, see the doctor, then begin any recommended therapy.

At every visit, you can expect a genuine smile from a receptionist who knows you by name; chiropractic assistants who are well trained, caring, and committed to helping you be healthy; a billing expert who will make sure you can afford the care you need; and doctors who listen, care, and understand.

Dr. Wilson Asks some important questions of interest to Beaumont residents - Chiropractor Beaumont Dr. Wilson Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
